Our next games are at Van Tech Turf - a new field in East Vancouver - vs. Likastik and Buck Fugly. Looking at the extended forecast however, it seems there is a fairly good chance of games being canceled for Monday. If that is the case, I would like to propose a team dinner at one of the following locations: The Reef (Main Street); Dix (Downtown); or The Clubhouse (2nd Ave / sushi) at around 6:30′ish.

If Van Tech is an artificial field wouldn’t it be way less likely to be cancelled? Otherwise, Reef is good for me. Get some of their Joanna cakes! Anyhow, see you all tomorrow.
Just a note - at the captain’s meeting they said that we would not have access to the Van-Tech field until later. The start time is posted as 6:59 on the website.
If games are cancelled, dinner sounds good. The Reef or Clubhouse are good choices. I prefer to stay away from Dix as parking can be tough downtown.

- For this turf field, games start an hour later: 7:00-8:30 and 8:30-10:00.
- There are lights and you can wear cleats.
- This is a different field from Van Tech Oval (which is grass and used on Tuesdays only).
